BIOGRAPHY on Beverly Adkins:

Beverly Adkins spent her 72 years on this earth accumulation an extensive collection of high-end jewelry.   Beverly was passionate about fashion and her lifelong collection included many unique antique pieces that may no longer be available.  Beverly was a very stylish woman who spent her younger years as a Saks Fifth Avenue in-store floor model.  She lived in Boston, New York, New Orleans, Houston & Oklahoma but her passion for jewelry was a constant in her life.  

Beverly’s most prized pieces were her extensive collection of designer statement necklaces by the designer Masha Archer.  These museum quality statement necklaces are made by the designer in San Francisco.   These one-of-a-kind statement pieces are made with gems, beads, and products from Masha’s extensive travels to other countries.  A few of her pieces come with handwritten “Story Cards” from the designer herself.   These rare finds are “works of art that you can wear”.  Masha’s collectors include well-known celebrities and dignitaries such as Oprah Winfrey, Ivanna Trump, Michelle Obama, Barbara Walters, Laura Bush, Beyonce Knowles, Sara Parker, etc. They have also been featured on magazine covers such as Vogue and in movies.  We have included a trunk show press release for additional information about the quality of Masha’s work.

Beverly’s collection includes pieces from designers found on QVC & Home Shopping Network such as Camrose & Kross (Jacqueline Kennedy Collection), Barbara Bixby, Colleen Lopez, Carolyn Pollack, Michael Dawkins etc.  She owned an extensive collection of Judith Ripka 925 silver items.  These classic pieces are timeless.

Due to the extensive amount of jewelry in this collection, this will be auction #2 of 3 auctions.   We are very proud to be able to bring you Beverly’s high quality jewelry pieces.   

Since this collection has so many vintage and rare items, the descriptions are based on the current owners’ descriptions and on what information has been found on-line. All items have been researched and the descriptions have been stated to the best of our ability, but not all information may be one hundred percent accurate.
